On June 12, 2004, this little girl was found at the left side of Sister Liu Sanjie Music Fountain Square of Yizhou City. After the Chengbei Police of Yizhou City searched hard for her biological parents but in vain, the Civil Affairs Bureau of Yizhou City approved and was placed under the care of Yizhou Social Welfare on June 13, 2004.

Her date of birth is June 8, 2004 and she will be adopted by the proud parents Marie and David. Her name will be Lily Elizabeth and this is our web site. Travel will be sometime in late March, 2005 We will keep you posted of the official dates of the trips. See your then.

China Adoption Program Updates - February 2, 2005

• Alliance for Children is pleased to announce that 11 families have received referrals! This includes all families who sent dossiers to China in July and August 2004. All 11 little girls are from Guangxi province – 10 are from the town of Yizhou and one from Nanning. At the time of referral, the girls ranged in age from about 8-23 months, most are about 9 months. We are delighted for the happy families!
• The wait time for referrals continues to hold steady at about 6 months from submission of dossier to China.
• We are currently expecting referrals for families whose dossiers were sent in September 2004.
• Six families will travel to Nanning, Guangxi this month. They will be in China just after the Chinese New Year holiday – a very festive time!
